FAQs

  • Who is HEAVYCRAFT?
HEAVYCRAFT is a specialized staffing agency dedicated to connecting skilled workers with employers in the industrial sector. Our focus is on providing workforce solutions for industries such as but not limited to construction, mining, oil fields, and power plants. We are committed to matching experienced, qualified professionals with employers who need reliable, temporary, temp-to-hire, or permanent staff for critical projects and operations.
  • How does HEAVYCRAFT work?
HEAVYCRAFT works by bridging the gap between skilled job seekers and employers in need of qualified industrial labor. Here’s how our process works: 1. For Employers: When an employer reaches out to HEAVYCRAFT, we assess their specific staffing needs, including required skills, experience, and certifications. We then recruit, screen, and match qualified candidates from our extensive network, providing you with dependable staff for either short-term assignments or temp-to-hire roles. 2. For Job Seekers: Job seekers can apply through HEAVYCRAFT for a variety of industrial roles. We match candidates with positions that fit their skills and experience and handle all aspects of employment, including payroll and benefits for temporary staff. Many of our roles are temp-to-hire, offering candidates the chance to transition to full-time positions with our clients after an evaluation period. 3. Ongoing Support: HEAVYCRAFT manages all administrative tasks for temporary placements, including payroll, taxes, and workers’ compensation. We provide regular check-ins and support for both clients and employees to ensure a smooth and successful working relationship. Whether you’re an employer needing skilled labor or a job seeker looking for your next opportunity in the industrial field, HEAVYCRAFT simplifies the process by providing qualified matches and comprehensive employment support.
  • What types of jobs do you offer?
We offer a variety of temporary, temp-to-hire, and direct-hire positions in the industrial sector, including roles in construction, mining, oil fields, and power plants. Common roles include general laborers, welders, equipment operators, technicians, administrative support positions and many more similar roles.
  • How do I apply for a job?
You can apply directly through our website by filling out our application form. Once we receive your information, we’ll contact you if your qualifications match any current or future openings.
  • Do I need specific experience or certifications?
Some positions require specific experience or certifications, particularly for trades or roles involving welding, electrical, operating and similar skilled tasks. We also offer entry-level positions that may not require prior experience but often benefit from safety training (MSHA/OSHA) or relevant background. We have positions for everyone, but to find the best placement for you, it's best to provide any certifications you may have.
  • Will I be paid weekly or biweekly?
Paychecks are typically paid on a weekly basis. You’ll receive your first paycheck after completing your first week of work, and subsequent payments will follow each week.
  • Can a temporary position lead to full time employment?
Yes! Many of our assignments are temp-to-hire, which means the employer has the option to hire you as a full-time employee after an evaluation period. This allows both you and the employer to determine if the role is a good long-term fit.
  • Am I eligible for benefits?
As a temporary employee, you may be eligible for certain benefits we provide. Eligibility for benefits will be determined depending on the position and length of your assignment.
